Flat feet are a condition where the arch of the foot is lowered, and the arch structure collapses. The collapse of the longitudinal arch structure can affect not only the foot but also posture and balance, so caution is required. In this state, shock absorption during walking and running is insufficient, putting extra strain on the ankles, knees, and hips. Furthermore, if the flexibility of the movable parts of the foot decreases, the up-and-down movement of the ankle is restricted, leading to inefficient walking.
